The Office of Financial Aid provides assistance for students who, without such aid, would be unable to attend Middle Georgia State University. It is the intention of the University to help as many students as possible by providing assistance with grants, scholarships, loans and/or student employment.
Middle Georgia State University is able to offer many students financial assistance. We realize that despite scholarship assistance and the reasonable cost of a Middle Georgia State University education, you and/or your family may not be able to provide the resources necessary to fund your college education. We hope that no student will fail to consider Middle Georgia State College due to financial reasons.
The Financial Aid Office is committed to helping you find ways to finance your education. Our staff can help you sort through various types of financial aid, including the Georgia HOPE programs and Federal Student Aid Programs.
Two Main Points:
- ATTENDANCE: You are expected to attend classes in which you enroll and to complete all course requirements. If you do not start attendance in a class(es), your aid may be reduced or cancelled.
- You must pay all charges not covered by financial aid by the published payment deadline or your classes will be dropped from your schedule.
